The Fallow deer (Dama dama) has been admired for centuries and is one of the oldest managed deer species in the world. Mature bucks are instantly recognizable by their impressive palmated antlers, broad sweeping beams that distinguish them from virtually every other deer species hunted in Texas. Fallow deer also display remarkable coat variations, including traditional chestnut with white spots, chocolate, black, white, and menil color phases, making every trophy unique.
In addition to their striking appearance, Fallow deer provide excellent table fare and continue to rank among the most popular exotic game species for hunters seeking both beauty and challenge.

Many hunters grow up experiencing the whitetail rut, but few have witnessed a fallow deer rut. From aggressive vocalizations to intense displays of dominance, it's one of the most exciting and unique hunting experiences you'll ever see.
